Unable to delete events

The api allows deletion of events only for team_leads and pres, something to keep in mind. Default for everyone else should be just to change of status of event to cancelled. (But if delete isn't working for team_leads then it's still a bug)

Can I be added as a team_leads so I can debug the delete action? I'm also still using @ashleytqy 's account since my account does not act well with the API.

Tested this a couple times in staging, and I'm able to successfully delete events.

Able to delete in prod, but not staging... weird.
