deriving the family name from the artifact id is not very intuitive, and the current algorithm requires artifact ids to conform to a pattern, which is undesirable. cactus should consider using the group-id as the family identifier.

after this change:

  • the docs should be changed so that "family" => "group"
  • artifact ids "cactusmetadata" => "cactus-metadata"
