The shutter switch respawns back at its default position.
I am pretty sure it worked at one point... I know for sure the old version of ShipWindows did.

Sorry for never responding.
I'll have a look, but it might be GeneralImprovements' fault, not sure though

It is not recommended to enable this feature as it may also cause other bugs.
