It never installs for me

I've tried installing through the gnome extensions site on two different Arch installations, and so far this doesn't work.

The extension seems to be being installed, because I can open its settings, but "error" appears on the extensions page, and there is also no way to enable it in tweaks> extensions.

same in debian. Even tried installing the git into the .local/share/gnome-shell/extensions of my user home

Do you have gnome-menus installed? Its required dependency.

Not sore what's happening. I'm also on Arch installed via Anarchy installer and haven't had any issues. Have you tried the git version as of today? Download and extract zip> rename extracted folder to [email protected] then move to extensions folder, Logged out and back in?
