Add some way to easily change important items of the site, for example make the site title and other objects configurable in the frontend. These changes enable a host to adapt and customize l2ge quickly for their own needs.

Here is a list of items, that could be customized:

  • Site title
  • Welcome text
  • Logo path
  • Favicon path

I apologize if some or all of these items are already configurable, I have not enough insight in the frontend.

  • Site title: good idea
  • Welcome text: Uhh, which one do you mean?
  • Logo Path: We don't display the logo anywhere except the faviocon
  • Favicon Path: That is a browser standard. I believe it is possible to change the path but I believe that some way to overwrite the icon would be better

  • Site title: Title of the tab... BTW, maybe we should set this to the current video title?!
  • Welcome text: I mean the giant Lecture2Gether at the front page (and maybe some subtitle)
  • Logo Path: @ftsell +1
  • Favicon Path: @ftsell +1
