changing Mouse Movement Indicator style

I'm currently working on a Keyboard style for a small game called Kurtzpel where i split up the weapon icons for the mouse buttons.

Is it possible to redesign the Mouse movement indicator for a specific Keyboard style?
The standard one is a point moving in a circle which wouldn't fit in my case.
Where would i have to start looking into, if it's not possible in the NohBoard/keyboards directory?

• using 8 sperate elements arround the Icon
• changing saturation or transparency according to movement speed
