Thank you... and a couple of feature requests. #203
Comments
Hi, This project has been inactive for a long time. I would not have too many hopes for new versions at this point. I don't have much time to work on it. But I would like to quickly respond to your suggestions:
You can just leave it running in the background, behind any other programs you are using. Since I am using windows forms, windows will simply stop updating windows that are minimized, I don't think there is much I can do about it.
Make the background of the image the background of the key? I guess it makes it harder to reuse an image in multiple styles, but it should be a pretty easy workaround.
I don't know what this means, you mean shapes for keys? This should be pretty doable by selecting points or edges of a key and dragging them around, and right clicking a selected edge and choosing Add boundary point. If you want more precision, you can see all boundary points in the Key properties window. And as a last resort you can save the file and edit the coordinates in the generated keyboard file. I have to concede that it looks like the highlighting of points and edges as you hover over them is either broken or I never implemented it. |
Thank you for your reaction, no worries it were just feature requests since those were the things i stumbled upon. can i fork the project? the only thing i really want is running in the background and maybe its not that hard to implement. thank you for your work. |
Sure, feel free to fork the project! If you want to submit a pr there is
also a better chance that I will take a look at it. But as its open source
you can also just run a fork of course.
