Have we insured that the parts of dynamorio that are being statically linked in are compatible with out license as i know certain sections of it are for example lgpl.

Would we prefer a dynamic link instead if we fall in this case.

Regarding specifics, statically linking to LGPL would mean effectively licensing binaries as LGPL. If you dynamic link there is no requirement to upgrade the license.
