Fix for #1557 / #1837

Hi. I have been trying to create a PR for the above issue, but the 2 factor authentication on Github is thwarting me, and I can't push the branch.

This is the simplest of fixes - literally. Could someone with access, please get this in. The code is shown in #1557 and is a change to one literal.
