Re-flashing a gen2 Tidbyt fails #14

Hi - I successfully flashed a sacrificial gen2 Tidbyt into a Tronbyt a few weeks ago. I've been troubleshooting some text push issues with the home assistant TidbytAssistant integration to my Tronbyt and decided to create a new device in Tronbyt Server to re-flash the firmware to rule out an incorrect device ID.

However, every new gen2 firmware file that I create in Tronbyt Server fails to boot up after flashing to the Tronbyt. It seems to upload fine then just cycles through the following with just a few LEDs lit on the device:

[09:54:04]rst:0x3 (SW_RESET),boot:0x13 (SPI_FAST_FLASH_BOOT)
[09:54:04]configsip: 0, SPIWP:0xee
[09:54:04]clk_drv:0x00,q_drv:0x00,d_drv:0x00,cs0_drv:0x00,hd_drv:0x00,wp_drv:0x00
[09:54:04]mode:DIO, clock div:2
[09:54:04]load:0x3fff0018,len:4
[09:54:04]load:0x3fff001c,len:1044
[09:54:04]load:0x40078000,len:8896
[09:54:04]load:0x40080400,len:5828
[09:54:04]entry 0x400806ac

Power cycling and it just shows a blank screen.

I can re-flash back to the first firmware file I created and the device boots up with Tronbyt displayed and responds to pings but none of the new firmware files I create that have new device IDs work - any ideas please?
