Get notified when your API provider makes a breaking-change

Hi all,
We're considering a new solution to automatically notify API consumers when their provider makes a breaking-change.
At this point we'd like to know whether this answers a real need.

Here are a few more details.
The idea it to be able to get notifications about breaking-changes by registering to a service that tracks changes to an OpenAPI spec and calls your webhook when such a change is found.
