•sudo apt update (updating packages)
•sudo apt-get upgrade (upgrading packages)
•sudo nano /etc/hostname (need to have hostname for nextcloud)
•sudo reboot (it is better to reboot,for being sure that changes were saved)
•wget https://download.nextcloud.com/server/releases/latest.zip (it's better to install with .zip file)
Note: if you don't have "zip"
1)sudo apt-get -y install zip
2)sudo aptitude -y install zip (those who use aptitude)
•sudo nano /etc/hosts (you will need to add your nextcloud hostname,loopback address even if you don't have a website,you can check config.png , yellow ma
•sudo apt install mariadb-server (install the mariadb-server package)
csudo systemctl status mariadb (checking the status of the mariadb)
Note: if there's any issue,you can type this command " sudo systemctl enable mariadb" and check again.
•sudo mysql_secure_installation (making some security for for MariaDB)
•sudo mariadb (we’ll create the database we’ll be using for Nextcloud)
CREATE DATABASE nextcloud;
SHOW DATABASES;
GRANT ALL PRIVILEGES ON nextcloud.* TO 'nextcloud'@'localhost' IDENTIFIED BY 'mypassword';
FLUSH PRIVILEGES; (CTRL + D = to exit)
•sudo apt install php php-apcu php-bcmath php-cli php-common php-curl php-gd php-gmp php-imagick php-intl php-mbstring php-mysql php-zip php-xml(Apache Webserver Setup
