Feature request - support for RTC_GEOMETRY_TYPE_POINT

Hi Will,

I´d like to express my interest for a support for point geometries (RTC_GEOMETRY_TYPE_POINT). This is not a show-stopper for me right now - in my use case, I can also just use spherical triangle meshes for each point, which is okay for me since currently I am dealing with a low number of points.

Hi @geolehmann , from the discussion on #22 it sounds like @matthiascy plans to finish filling out support for the set of Embree 3.13.5 features. The point geometry shouldn't be too bad to add, so either he or I (I don't want to volunteer @matthiascy for too much work) will have it in at some point. I'll follow up on this ticket once it's added and released
