Prerequisites

  • I have carried out troubleshooting steps and I believe I have found a bug.
  • I have searched for similar bugs in both open and closed issues and cannot find a duplicate.

Describe the bug

Blank page issue with a Print link in a different browser when using "+" sign in email.

Steps to reproduce

  1. I have created new user roles like "[email protected]"
  2. Open incognito mode, placed an order
  3. Closed the incognito mode
  4. Received an email, copy the print link and paste it to incognito mode
  5. A blank page appears which is wrong

Note: the above issue is replicated with +sign only. If you create users like "apeksha@tychesoftwares" then things are working fine.

Expected behavior

A blank page should not appear when the email contains a "+" sign.

WordPress Environment

Isolating the problem

  • I have deactivated other plugins and confirmed this bug occurs when only our plugin is active.
  • This bug happens with a default WordPress theme active, or Storefront.
  • I can reproduce this bug consistently using the steps above.
