As a user I feel overwhelmed when looking at many plots, I have trouble spotting the difference visually in the attached image:
I wish I had a view like cmd+alt+2, where it only shows the current line's PBs:
However, cmd+alt+2's ordering puts the plot at the end of a horizontal scroll.
Recommendation:
In cmd+alt+2 mode, order the columns by [vars-touched-on-this-line-alphabetically] + [all-other-vars-alphabetically]. This will hopefully be a simple enough heuristic that a user can understand why some variable shows up first.
