Modifying the storm time series for each simulation is overly complicated and not user friendly (@anardek my current task)
add boolean variables in the yaml for using the seeded RNG and for using this InteriorNoise function
need to update the fancy Barrier3D readme with the new parameter file, and any other changes/additions (i.e., where the example scripts are located to run the different Versions, point to the notebook, do we specify that the elevation and dune input files need to be in units of dam?)

Hi @mcflugen! I was trying to help Ian debug a Barrier3D Version 2 installation on a new computer yesterday (PC) and we couldn't get it to work -- eventually we got a int64 error that I couldn't figure out. Then we tried reinstalling on his MacBook and got new errors: for some reason bmipy and exconfig don’t seem to want to install with pip install -e . for barrier3d (despite being listed in the requirements). Don't know what's up. Do you also get this problem? @irbreeves is trying to make sure Version 2 works for users now that his paper is published.
