big picture usability theme - lack of design uniformity

Examples on this theme -

• Fields are presented in different order on Create Event than Event Details page (e.g., numbers of sick and dead are labeled differently and in different order) so hard to find things
• Buttons don't have unified naming schema, graphics, and color (e.g., "save" vs "submit" vs "add", icon is sometimes an arrow (e.g., add new location) and sometimes a floppy disk and sometimes the plus sign, delete is in red on create event but blue on the contacts tab on the dashboard)
• Would be nice to have buttons placed near the field that they interact with in a consistent way so you don't have to poke around so much to get the right popup form (e.g., edit species is below species but edit species diagnosis is to the right of the diagnosis)
• Unify the warnings - some are in red text at bottom of page, some in toast messages, some in location review pane on Create Event, some pop up while you're entering data... if you enter something wrong, want pop-up warning right away so that you can fix it while you're brain is thinking about that field, if missing a required field altogether then put all those notices in one spot and in one format
