Battery saving option (enabled by default) of Android will shutdown NoiseCapture even if the user have started a measurement (and lock the phone, or screen goes black)

On the first start of NoiseCapture after the authorisation request for GPS use, ask the user the disable battery saving on NoiseCapture Android settings (there is a way to open the android settings of NoiseCapture)
