The dashboard can include the following:

  • zoom in/out to regions of interest
  • subset by type of incident (biking/pedestrian/major/fatal/etc)
  • subset by weather condition
  • subplot of summary incident counts across time (e.g. years, months, time of day)
  • subplot of incidents occurring vs. "high speeding"/"low speeding" or "high speed"/"low speed?
    • check to see whether there are correlations between frequent speeding and incidents, OR high designated speed and incidents
  • "heatmap" of streets with most incidents once normalized by usage (see Get some measure of road usage (vehicle counts or user counts) #5)
