"The Fruit" crashes the display driver, unable to recover and having to do a hard reset (I did see that someone else on ProtonDB with AMD GPU has reported a similar thing).
Reproduction
Axis Mundi:
Select Start Game > Free Play Mode
Select the "PH" report on the board to launch "Axis Mundi"
I was able to fix the video by setting launch option
"WINE_DO_NOT_CREATE_DXGI_DEVICE_MANAGER=1 %command%"
The Fruit:
Select Start Game > Free Play Mode
Select report on the board to launch "The Fruit"
Start the game
Bring up the lantern (press 4) and walk forward until you reach a bridge, after the bridge enter the shed to the left. Move the barrels and look at the picture hidden behind one of them. Read the note on the table. Exit the shed and follow the road forward (it will start raining). The display driver will crash just before you reach a village.
Note that triggering the crash appears to be very specific (I have been able to replicate the problem three times in a row doing the steps above), if you just walk forward (without taking the detour entering the shed etc..). The driver does not crash.
#5881 Proton-7.0-3-rc1 appears to have fixed both the issues I reported 🎉
Axis Mundi - intro video now looks correct
The Fruit - I made three attempts to instigate the driver crash, and passed without issue
I'm closing this for now as I'm no longer seeing problems. I have seen an older report on ProtonDB about missing content in the "Rose of Meat" episode, but I have not spotted any problem myself so far.
