Is there an existing issue for this?

  • I have searched the existing issues

Are you using any gamescope patches or a forked version of gamescope?

  • The issue occurs on upstream gamescope without any modifications

Current Behavior

Posting here as well, for This is the only level 3, level 20 seems to cause the entire screen to flicker pretty painfully. This only occurs when running in game mode, it works fine on desktop mode or using windows.

Steps To Reproduce

Play through This is the Only Level 3 until you get to stage 20

can you try with ENABLE_GAMESCOPE_WSI=0 %command% as a game launch option in the game's Steam properties as well? I don't own the game to test for myself.

Launching it with that command reduces the flickering to a reasonable amount (flickers a bit until the virtual keyboard pops up, then it stops)

Though in some cases if I click back to the title screen, it causes some weird effect where it flickers between the title screen and level a bit.
