Based on discussions on Steam and Reddit, this issue affects all players, not just me. The problem is that Counter-Strike 1.6 displays a Steam Cloud synchronization error, even though the game does not support this feature.

I’m not sure whether Steam Cloud support was ever present in Counter-Strike 1.6. If anyone has precise information, please clarify this for me.

I'm having this exact same issue. And many people on reddit are also having this issue.

It seems the issue has been fixed.
