Why there is built release of avalonstudio

Hello there. I am looking for good free C# IDE and found this one. There are others like sharpdevelop and monodevelop that are dead. There is vscode that I find daunting to work with c# projects. There is visual studio that I have been using for a long time. However, after I switched to Ubuntu, I can't use visual studio anymore. Then I found this project which seems really promising, but no built binaries were published and I am always skeptic when I try to build stuffs myself. So, it would be really great if there were builds available, at least for trying.
