How do I start minecraft client's like bat mod etc?

You can refer the launch game section.

I'm not sure what is bat mod means. Could you please explain more?

It is a client named batmod it is installed in the minecraft directory by a installer we have to download from their site. Btw a client is just a modified version of minecraft
