Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
Current Microscope.JSON selection feature does not allow to deal with MANY MICROSCOPES.
For example if MMA is utilized by a data management system nationwide (i.e. German Bioimaging) then there could be 20-30 microscopes per manufacturer + all different configurations.

The current solution does not work for such a large selection list.

Describe the solution you'd like
FIND A SOLUTION TO EASILY NAVIGATE MANY OPTIONS

Solution 1:
Use #forms-floating-labels-select
https://react-bootstrap.github.io/components/forms/#forms-floating-labels-select

Solution 2:
Subdivide lists by Facility (use RRID maybe?; https://coremarketplace.org/RRID:SCR_021201
