Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
EDAM settings is pretty complicated. Using .yaml to store the settings, parsing and conversion is very cumbersome. Also, distinction among different environment (Dev, Test, etc.) is almost impossible.

Describe the solution you'd like
Introduce the state of the art with pydantic.
