Unable to see gadget running 4K (anyway to boost the size of the text?)

I've changed the CSS file to make things readable, but the size of the gadget doesn't increase so it just scrolls things off the gadgets' screen edge. Is there a way to make the gadget itself support a higher/bigger/longer format? I know this is probably more of a limitation with sidebar gadgets themselves... but thought I'd ask. I love this little gadget and have been running it for over a decade now I think...

Here's an example of what I mean... I tried changing the background images too, in hopes it might scale the gadget bigger, but that didn't work either...
