In the Dynamic Firewall I can't get it to do anything. I have enabled both rules and tried with root enabled and with and without Allusers. I then log off and on with root and I can't see OpenVPN or SSH rules popping up in the INPUT chain of the firewall. I have the same non-appearance of firewall rules if I use a test user.
The accounts system is enabled as I have a test user.
I think the Wiki guys are using this and it's had a decent set of eyeballs on it.
After login, you should see the file /etc/clearos/firewall.d/10-firewall-dynamic change. The ClearSync daemon watching the firewall.d folder should then restart the firewall. Those are two events you could watch for to debug.
