Marine Mission

Marine Mission is an engaging game developed for the WWDC23 Swift Student Challenge submission. Written in Swift using the powerful SpriteKit framework, this game is designed to tackle real-world issues in an enjoyable and prominent manner.

Marine Mission is more than just a game; it is a way to address environmental and societal problems while creating an immersive and enjoyable experience for players. The game features stunning graphics and animations that aim to increase the realism and vibrancy of the game. The physics engine of SpriteKit is also utilized to simulate gravity in an oceanic environment, making player movements more fluid.

Development Process

The development process for Marine Mission was iterative and involved overcoming various challenges. One of the significant challenges was reducing loading times, which was resolved by developing an algorithm to asynchronously dispatch nodes into the scene, resulting in a smoother experience and making the game more user-friendly.
