How is it failing, specifically? Is it just not responding at all to commands to download files or...??

Forgive me if this comes off as condescending - I'm assuming you are relatively new to the site...

Keep in mind that hyperlinks to versions are not as they appear on the front page of any given software - they are actually hyperlinks to a specific download page (see attached screenshot) which one gets to by clicking through them.

This is a problem. I was going to report this myself. There is an http/https mismatch. As far as I can tell no downloads work on the site currently until this is resolved.

All you need to do is update your links to have a prefix of // in front of the domain. The browser will choose the right protocol at that point. The issue is the links are not https but the site is.

This page is for the Adventure CMS which powers WinWorld.

Considering you are the owner of both isn't it more important to find out that your website is broken?

For all I know this is a bug with your CMS. It cannot make that determination and I suspect anyone with the ability to hasn't bothered.

The website is being hosted on HTTPs but when you hit up this end point it returns a 302 to a non-ssl link. That certainly sounds like a problem with the CMS in general, not the particular instance of it on winworldpc.com

It's been broken since at least November. How the 1,000 people on your discord haven't reported this is beyond me but I'm not going out of my way any further to inform you that your site is not working correctly. Do with this information what you wish.

  1. I am not the owner of WinWorld or Adventure
  2. If this is the Chrome mixed content issue, it is a KNOWN ISSUE. To my knowledge, a fix is being worked on for this (see below).
