I don't like how it looks. Maybe added rounded corners?
If padding is increased, do lots of testing with surrounding text

Not sure how I feel about the perma-boldness. Maybe just add that styling in a template or espanso snippet.
Example:
==**(P1)**== instead of ==(P1)==
