for some more input, i received this error on u37+, but u35 worked just fine (i did not see a u36 release, unsure if it exists or not)
also this isn't an issue with the EagProxyAAS, as i deleted it when i deployed the proxy for my viaaas server

No changes to the Minecraft 1.8 packets should have been made. I think. The error should not exist on u36 because lax1ude didn't make the protocol changes until u37.
Notice this line before u37 and what the line changes to in u37.
We now have PVN 4. Unfortunately, anything u37+ should be broken until eaglerproxy gets proper support for protocol v4.
