A neat, automatically generated json file could prove useful for all sorts of queries.

  • Use Liquid to create a json version of the Lexicon, as in /search.json (current master branch) or /pages/search.html (current lunr-search branch).
  • Save this file in /assets/json/lexicon.json
  • See if you can nest definition objects inside lexicon objects
  • See if you can use the jekyll-scholar plugin to provide more detailed information from the bibliography inside the definition
  • See if you can create the lemma objects without referring to the \_lexicon folder, but directly from the (unique occurrences of) the definitions in /_definitions instead.
