New User in v1.4.0-rc

Has there been any conversation about having the new user capture their picture? It might make it easier for the editors (especially if the identicon transfers to tExchange) to know who to contact about the changes.
It might help with the personalization - cultures that are relational - of the users.

After all, if they are using a tablet/phone there would be a camera available. :)
