Emuiibo Crashing on knock-out

I've tested this 2 in the main time on my new OLED. Everytime I use my Emuiibo Kirby and it dies or wins. The game freezes and aborts. I tested this with a normal 1v1 too (me facing a cpu withou amiibos) and that doesn't crash for some reason. I've tried switching my mods off too. None of it works. Please help.
