Currently on rPI2:

  • led0 (green): SD card activity
  • led1 (red): power (always on)

what do you think of changing to the following in the updater?

  • during update, we set red led trigger to timer, so it blinks at 1hz rate
  • if there is an update error, change red led to blink at 10hz rate
  • after update we set red led to heartbeat and before switching to main rootfs

I'm looking at sending a rPI setup without a display, so it would be good to have some indication of status during updates.
