I am attempting to configure a static ip for the raspberry pi router. I was able to flash to a SD and boot the raspberry pi and see the openmptcprouter ascii art. It also seems like the vps script completed successfully. Right now I am stuck on the static ip/local networking side of things. I have a Sagecom fast 5290 modem from Frontier (los angeles based isp) that's connected to a Netgear R6400 router which plugs into the raspberry pi ethernet port.
I went into the netgear settings and set some dhcp settings.
I see that the raspberry pi is connected to the netgear router:
I go to 192.168.1.50 and get "connection refused". At one point I was able to get the web application to load, add the keys form the script (I see cp: can't create /etc/unbound/root.key errors in the pi indicating the functionality worked at one point). I got the "duplicate interface" errors so thought it was something about the DHCP problems I read about. When I went to configure this now I can't ssh or get the web application to show up.
