A clear and concise description of what the bug is.

If you jump off a cliff into water, you will not fall below the surface of the water. This is not the case in DOS, where large enough falls would cause you to dive upon impact and it would keep some of your momentum.

This applies to diveable lava as well, likely any diveable surface.

Steps to reproduce the behaviour.

Explain how to reproduce

  1. Load up level 3
  2. When the rabbit jumps off the cliff (right after the red room), follow it and land in the water
  3. Unless you are holding crouch, you will not fall below the surface of the water

Do the same in DOS, and your momentum will carry you below the surface of the water.

It starts with commit 2a82ef8
Unfortunately that commit seems to be more than the 'minor optimization' from the message and the code has changed a lot since then. I have no idea what to do with it...

Thanks for bisecting it back for me. I'll need a few weeks till I have time to have a look at what went wrong 😊
