Thumbnailing command failed! error

I'm getting the
[mpv_thumbnail_script_server] Thumbnailing command failed!
error
And the cache text is not appearing

The only time I've gotten that error for a valid reason was when the video had a unplayable part (at the end).

Press the ~ key to see the logs. It'll probably point you to /tmp/mpv_thumbs_cache/.

Considering you mention cache text, then I'm assuming it's a network stream? I've no experience with mpv thumbnail script on network streams.

It's not a network stream, it's a local file
I'm on windows btw
And I'me having the error on every video I play

Could be a path length issue with a filename like that. Try renaming it to something simple like video.mp4.
