I'd love to use EveryDoor more, but so far my experience with it for indoor mapping wasn't really the best. While it works perfectly if one comes into completely non-mapped empty mall/airport and you just add POI-nodes there and there, it really struggles with more complex indoor layouts or when one wants to do more precise micro-mapping.
Some items I miss:
Better level switch. Now it's hidden inside filter, but would be great so it automatically appears as I zoom enough and there are elements on the map belonging to different level. (might be similar UX like in Vespucci in "indoor mode" when there is a switch with arrows directly on the main screen)
Render indoor rooms/walls/doors/corridors/footways as per https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Simple_Indoor_Tagging, so it's actually visible. Today I only see OSM Carto in the background (which is known to be far away from being good for complex indoor structures)
Those two items would be already greatly beneficial and improve usability a lot.
Ideal would be yet another point - to add support to add rooms and walls, but that's probably too complex topic and won't align with "simple" project direction (as there is no support to add building outlines and other non-node objects)

First request is unlikely to be implemented, since I strive for less buttons on the main screen. Two taps in this case is better than one, because when surveying, you don't change floors that often.
