Duplicate all the electronic internals of Dewi (Pi+Arduino+Captain Morgan and maybe servos) and leave them somewhere hooked up to mains power+internet. Use this to run long term testing. A simulator could be adapted to simulate NMEA GPS output and a second arduino could pretend to be an I2C compass and wind sensor. Telemetry output from the control system could provide actuator positions back to the simulator.

this would be a fantastic project to get freshers on. Get them familiar with how everything works
