We have just gone to install this and noticed that it doesn't support the same Group/Grouping modes that the current grader_report does. This means that the drop down lists for Groups/Groupings always show all groups/groupings in the course.
The grader_report drop downs are controlled by two items:
a) Generally - if the user has either the moodle/site:accessallgroups or moodle/course:managegroups capability at the current context, then ALL groups are shown to the user in the drop down.
b) If the user doesn't meet the conditions of a) above, then they are only shown groups which they are a member of.
The reason for this request is that there may be many teachers in a course, some which we only want to be able to view the distributions, and others that we may want to allow to edit. Is it possible to change this so that:
a) All groups/groupings are listed if the user has moodle/site:accessallgroups or moodle/course:managegroups or gradereport/gradedist:edit (as they will need access to all if editing), and
b) Users are only shown the groups/groupings to which they are members if they do not meet the above, but still have gradereport/gradedist:view.
This would give a lot of flexibility for restricting viewing to specific groups with large courses and multiple teachers.

Dear Jason,
sorry for taking so long. I just added the feature as an issue and we will discuss it as feature for Release 3.3.
Thanks for the detailed description, that makes the brainstorming much easier and the probability of us implementing it bigger ;-)
Cheers Kasia
Hi guys, we have a similar problem we have 3 schools doing tests and they want to see the graphs for their groups but sadly each school can see the graphs for other schools as well so we have had to disable it. Please, can it be amended to respect groups? Thank you so much.
Short update: at the moment the report is only visible for roles with gradereport/gradedist:view - per default roles with editing rights (teachers,...) can see this report. It was never intended to be shown for participants and than respect groups. As we don't have any resources to change it and there is the workaround to export the information and share it, we won't change the behaviour.
Hi Guys,
Firstly, great plugin - awesome work 👍
