Works normally when accessed through an internal api.

This might be good to know for future issues like this one, but heads up that this issue here might resolve itself if #137 will result in the removal of the chatbox for non admin users.

Thanx to @neoflex we now know about a similar case where websocket messages were blocked. Will report the issue and suggest the same solution.

Turns out the websocket is actually not blocked by F5... possible suspect: nginx. Need to investigate further.
