It could be pulled, I ported the code to Haxe ( it maybe possible to get it to run with OpenGL with some more work, would need to change the promise implementation and other details, but very feasible ). Likely I need to tidy code.
I prefer to license my work under MIT. If I create a new repo with just the haxe code and link to your repo rather than have it as a fork, would it be acceptable to license the Haxe version under MIT instead of GPL3? ( If Haxe version is under MIT I might put effort in to get it running with OpenGL as well ).

To compile you will currently need nightly Haxe.
