Where is the workflow file?

Hi, can you please let me know where I can find copy of the workflow file? I forked the repo but no workflow file nor trigger in the fork.

The workflow file is created when you enable CodeQL's Advanced Setup in the settings of the repo.

The tutorial needs to be updated to show that you need to either use Advanced Setup with a workflow, or use Default Setup.

If CodeQL is enabled with Default Setup then no workflow file is committed into the repo.

If Default Setup is being used you can switch to Advanced Setup so can you see and interact with the explicit workflow file:
