Hi all, I have an XPS 13 9350 256GB FHD. I'm trying to use any 4.4 kernel installed following this guide: http://linuxdaddy.com/blog/install-kernel-4-4-on-ubuntu/
I have added i915 in /etc/initramfs-tools/modules and launched sudo update-initramfs -u -k all
When I select the new kernel in grub I see a black screen and on kernel.log I see
i915 0000:00:02.0: registered panic notifier
Maybe I've done a mistake because, before the reboot, I have installed:
Kernel 4.2 boots fine (clearly without wifi)
