Hi,
It would be great if Fossil scm (https://fossil-scm.org/home/doc/trunk/www/index.wiki) could become a member of cosmos.

Have you tried compiling it?

I suggest:

do it exactly as the authors instruct
find the minimum changes to do it guided by this or this.
find a similar project (in the sense of dependencies, build tools, etc.) that is already in superconfigure and try to copy the strategy.
