The process engine currently supports returning non-zero positive integers as an exit code, to represent that a certain error occurred. This is useful in WorkChain development where returning an exit code from a particular outline step can be used to communicate to the caller that a certain error occurred, however, currently there is no official infrastructure of defining potential error codes.
