Carthage update to latest version (using xcode 16)

Seems like carthage update is trying to build an Example app with specific scheme "-scheme Example\ (iOS)" so Im getting the following error "xcodebuild: error: Could not configure request to show build settings: Found no destinations for the scheme 'Example (iOS)' and action archive."

But this is not necessary for carthage update.... How can I solve this?

when trying to update still on version 4.4.1 (my current version), still produces the same error "xcodebuild: error: Could not configure request to show build settings: Found no destinations for the scheme 'Example (iOS)' and action archive."

What I ran:
carthage update --platform ios --use-xcframeworks --no-use-binaries
and the error was:
A shell task (/usr/bin/xcrun xcodebuild -project /Users/andre.parente/Desktop/mobile-iOS/Carthage/Checkouts/lottie-ios/Example/Example.xcodeproj -scheme Example\ (iOS) -configuration Release CODE_SIGNING_REQUIRED=NO CODE_SIGN_IDENTITY= CARTHAGE=YES archive -showBuildSettings -skipUnavailableActions) failed with exit code 64:
