i think we will have to fork it... lots of issues to be fixed deserialization side

(The TF would probably pay for it.)

I could contribute a patch here or there, but not maintain the whole thing.

i can maintain it somewhat lightly on an as needed basis as i use it in production but if the TF pays for it i can maintain it completely.
